Highlighted Peak Wellness Member: Breanna Lende-Hanson
Breanna’s health and wellness journey has been full of victories both on and off the scale! In just three months, she has accomplished many things dealing with healthy changes on her lifestyle and she’s continuing to pursue more changes to reach her ultimate goals! Read about her experience and how Peak Wellness has impacted her journey so far.

  • Please tell us a bit about what motivated you to start your health and wellness journey.

“With the new year, I wanted to start doing better for myself. I feel it is easy to put ourselves on the backburner when life is happening, and I wanted to stop doing that so I can feel better about myself.”

  • How has your journey impacted other aspects of your life?

“I think this has helped me be kinder to myself.”

  • What were some of the initial challenges you faced, and how did you overcome them?

“My initial challenge was learning about the portion sizes for things. I have never weighed my food or measured out my sauces. With the meal plans and being told how much of things I should have helped me overcome it.”

  • Please share any significant milestones or achievements that you’re particularly proud of.

“I am proud of myself for starting and continuing this journey to see the progress.”

  • How have the coaches helped you on your journey?

“Coach Dephne has helped me through times where I felt like I was not making progress. She reminded me that I need to talk kinder to myself and that they aren’t expecting perfection. If things happen, we just have to make sure to get back on track.”

  • What are your future goals for your health and wellness?

“To feel good about myself and to continue to use what I am learning.”

  • What advice would you give to someone just starting out on their own health and wellness journey?

“Starting a health journey I think, is exciting. However, there can be a reality of it being hard. At least that is what it was like for me and the biggest thing I needed to give myself was grace. My coach told me to talk to myself and encourage myself like I would to my friends and that has truly helped me.”

  • What kind of advice would you give someone who initially has a barrier to joining Peak Wellness due to financial reasons?

“I needed to look at this opportunity as an investment into my health and into something that will make me happier/proud.”
