Health and wellness journeys are deeply personal, shaped by unique challenges, goals, and breakthroughs. With this blog, we are incredibly thrilled to share the story of a Peak Wellness member, though has chose to remain anonymous, was gracious enough to let us tell his story and success he’s been able to accomplish thus far. His journey on his health and wellness is a great reminder that perfection isn’t what you should strive for. Persistence, courage, and willingness to try different things are qualities that can help you create progress and get closer to your desired goal. Through his dedication and having endless support, he has made great strides in reaching his optimal health and wellness, and with this story, this could be the motivation you might be looking for to get yourself to take that first step to reaching your own optimal health and wellness.


To keep this Peak Wellness member anonymous, we will be using the name “Avery“.

We first asked Avery to share about what motivated him to start his health and wellness journey.

Healthy eating, exercise and proper sleep have always been front and center in my daily routine. However, I sensed that I needed some significant fine-tuning, because I wasn’t getting the results I desired in terms of a healthy weight and robust energy levels. I know from research that you can’t use exercise to reverse an unbalanced diet, and I knew my diet, though healthy, was not balanced. Enter Tanner, owner of Peak Wellness!

I met Tanner at a community event (he is extensively involved in the community), and he told me about Peak Wellness, and after a bit of reluctance, I agreed to jump in 100%! Best decision I ever made. In just 4 months, I lost 40 pounds and all of my health metrics drastically improved!

We then asked how his journey has impacted other aspects in his life.

I have vastly improved mental clarity, memory and energy which allows me to excel in an incredibly demanding professional field.

Getting to know Avery, we learned quickly that he is a very busy man. Being an accountant, his days consisted of desk work, meetings, and lots of hours crunching numbers (especially during tax season!). It was so refreshing to hear his answer as his hard work on his health and wellness has allowed him to not make excuses to improve the quality of his life. Truly inspiring!

Challenges are part of any journey you go on, and we asked Avery what some of his initial challenges were and how he overcame them.

The only challenges I faced initially was self-imposed: doubting that working with a team of coaches could help me since I was already highly disciplined. How wrong I was! The coaches at Peak Wellness continue to teach me practical tricks on balancing my meals (both quantity and nutritionally), drinking adequate amounts of water throughout the day and how to weave an exercise routine into a busy life.

Having accountability truly does make the biggest difference in a health and wellness journey. Whether it’s your friend, family members, or a health coach, having someone to talk about your health and wellness goals and how to navigate through hurdles can be very helpful.

Peak Wellness offers both in-person and virtual meetings with our certified health coaches. Ranging from weekly meetings to once a month, you can really tailor your health and wellness journey with how often you meet your coach and syncing them up with your busy schedules.

Lastly, we asked Avery to share more insight and offer advice to anyone wanting to start on their health and wellness journey.

My advice would be to just have willingness to try the tips the coaches are offering, and be honest with them about your doubts, questions, and results. They can make adequate adjustments to your habits as you are on the journey.

Regarding those who are reluctant to try Peak Wellness out, I was initially a polite “no way”. Now after 4 months, I am so glad I changed my mind! Based on my experience, your life will change if you give this program 100%. And if you can get past the initial reluctance, don’t quit before your new life happens!

Peak Wellness is willing and able to work with you on a financial arrangement. But to tell you the truth, I have already saved tons of money on unneeded grocery costs and vitamin supplement costs. I have learned how to get most of my vitamins from my food choices.

Give it a try! I am continuing to experience incredible results as I close in on 50 pounds lost and aiming for even more than that. But I learned that the key is in changing my habits, not focusing on weight loss or other results! The results are just for motivation! Be open and willing to hear them out!
